Our Inn has a special personality. It is a historic, San Francisco
neighborhood hotel, recently renovated and managed by its new owners.
It is patterned on the popular "boutique-style" hotels that have
been so successful at taking business away from the franchised hotels
in San Francisco and New York City.
Hayes
Valley Inn guests enter a homey atmosphere where they can
get to know other guests, as well as the owners. We have just opened
our dining room (cafe) where our guests enjoy their continental
breakfast of coffee, sweet rolls, bagels and cream cheese, cereal and milk, orange juice, tea and other beverages.
Some guests may choose to play cards or borrow a good book to read
during their visit.
Breezy, the owner's cocker spaniel, is there most days of the week
visiting with the staff and the guests. Homo sapiens are her very
favorite beings.
Most of our guests are repeat guests who consider the Hayes Valley
Inn their "home away from home."
